Today we have added yet another new category (one of many more to come) to the WebProNews eBusiness Directory.

The new category Copywriting Services is actually a sub-category of the Content category.

The category includes listings of freelancers and agencies that provide copywriting services of all kinds – for search engine optimization purposes, for advertisements, for email newsletters, etc.

Because copywriting services meet such different needs, the category can also be found under the Marketing, Advertising, and Search categories.

If you provide copywriting services yourself and are not yet listed, please submit your site to the category. Even if copywriting is only part of what you do, you can submit the specific copywriting section of your site to the directory under this category.

I was browsing through our News category, and while we have a lot of different sub-categories in there pertaining to different aspects of eBusiness, it occurred to me, that we should have just a general news category.

We had financial news, advertising news, technology news, search news, etc, but we were missing one category for just plain old news site that cover a wide variety of categories.  Sites like CNN, NewsWeek, CBS, NBC, ABC,  FOX News, etc.

So now not only can you find a recently added category for News Aggregation and Search Sites, but you can also find one for General News Sites.

It’s good to have as many news resources as possible because you never know who’s going to break the next big story.

If you’ve got one that you want added, please submit it.

Welcome to the eBusiness Directory Blog, the companion blog to directory.webpronews.com.

We just launched this directory, which as I explained here, is very strictly human-edited. Submission to the directory is free and there is no paid inclusion.

Our goal is to keep this directory as useful a resource as possible for eBusiness professionals. Our hope is that you will bookmark it, and use it frequently when looking for information on many facets of online business.

I and perhaps occasionally other members of the WebProNews team will use this blog as a means to communicate what is going on with the directory and other tidbits that we think you will find useful.
