Proud Of Your Submission? Let It Be Known!

Monday, May 4th, 2009

First of all, I would like to thank all of you who received the Jayde Listing Notes and Directory Listing Notes publications and submitted your business’ website(s) to us via those publications. We have had numerous submissions as of late, due to your great participation in submitting to our quality eBusiness directory from these newsletters.

To show the pride of your submission(s) to our directory, we have provided an image (shown below) that you may display on your business’ website. Displaying this image is not mandatory, and choosing not to display the image will not jeopardize the inclusion nor status of your website into our quality directory. It is just a gift from us to you for you to display with your included directory listing. Linking back to our directory from this image is not mandatory as well.

Speaking of images to display on your site, Twellow (the Twitter Yellow Pages) also has some “stickers” that you can display on your site if you or your business are listed there. These stickers have been provided below and are also accessible from Twellow’s Sticker Page.

Happy Submitting! :)

Twellow Is Exploding With Categories

Monday, April 6th, 2009

Twellow, the directory of Twitter users, is also a service of WebProNews, and has been exploding with new categories to organize users by their niches. These categories and subcategories that are added are not your everyday directory categories (e.g. Arts & Humanities, Education, Health, etc.). These are categories to group users together by more specific niches. Here are some recent categories that have been added to Twellow:

If you can think of a category, you can be pretty sure that Twellow has it and that there are various Twitter users included in it. If you cannot find an area of interest on this service and would like to see the Twitter users relating to this interest, please feel free to suggest a category via the quick-and-easy Twellow contact form and select “Category Suggestion” from the subject drop-down menu.

If you are on Twitter and want to keep updated with the various category additions happening on Twellow, please be sure to add and follow @twellowup (http://www.twitter.com/twellowup) since it is always being updated with new
category additions.

Have fun with Twellow and find users by common niches today!

Facebook’s Layout Has Changed. Are You Writing About It?

Monday, March 16th, 2009

This past week, social networking giant Facebook implemented a new design for their user interface. Their user interface is now somewhat close to Twitter’s cosmetic appearance, having the status updates as the main focal point of the website. Does this sound familiar, Twitter users? This change is bringing about a lot of hype, not only on Facebook itself, but on a lot of social networking/media blogs out on the net as well (e.g. Mashable.com).

The new Facebook now looks like this:

With this in mind, I would like to bring your attention to the Social Media Blogs category on the WebProNews eBusiness Directory which is located under the Blogs category on the main page. (more…)

Twellow Update

Monday, February 9th, 2009

It’s been a while since Twellow, the Twitter people directory has been mentioned here,
so I thought I would update you on some new features that have recently been added:

  • TwellowHood – This feature in Twellow allows users to search for other users by geographical location using a map. This map can be broken down into state, and then onto city, to find users that are closest to you along with a tally of the number of Twitter users in the specific city. This is a great way to find people that you know.
  • Advanced LoginsTwellow now has the ability to track who you are following on Twitter, along with being able to directly follow people from within Twellow itself. Do you see a person that you would like to follow on your Twitter account? No problem! Just click on the Enhanced Features check box when logging into Twellow, and then click on the “Follow” button that is located right under the person’s name that you would like to follow.

This service is great for connecting to people on a B2B platform, and it also is a service of WebProNews. I hope that you enjoy all of the new features that Twellow has to offer.
