Have You Checked Out WebProNews Tools?
By: Chad SweelyIf you have just recently submitted your business’ website(s) to our quality directory, you will have received an e-mail upon confirmation describing WebProNews Tools. These tools have been hand-picked by our WebProNews team to help enhance your internet experience. These tools include a diverse spectrum of directory submission, social networking, internet network, and multimedia. I have specified a summary of some of these various tools below:
Social Networking:
- Twellow: The Twitter Yellow Pages – Have Twitter? Now, with the aid of Twellow, you can search for other people that share common interests and find users that live near you using this service’s new feature, TwellowHood. A more descriptive explanation about Twellow can be found on my previous blog post.
- IMJunky – Don’t have texting on your cell? Don’t have your phone with you and want to text someone? Look no further than IMJunky. This service, provided by iEntry, allows you to send text messages for free to anyone within the continental U.S.
Internet Networking:
- Domain Ranking – This tool from iEntrySEO blog SEOXP allows you to enter the domain name of a website and bring up various SEO-related statistics, such as: how the site ranks in Google, statistics of the specific site in Alexa, and also counts the amount of backlinks from around the net that involve the website.
- GetIP – Want to know the hostname of an IP or the IP of a hostname? This service allows you to view the information of an IP or hostname, along with providing its geographic location and the hostname/IP’s provider.
Multimedia:
- Splicd – Ever wanted to embed just a small clip of a YouTube video on your site, and the video was just too long or most of the video was irrelevant? With Splicd, you may now “splice” the part of the video that you want from the original and only embed the specified clip section on your website. This service is great for selecting a single portion from a long video.
- ResizePictures – If you can’t afford Photoshop and are displeased with other photo resizing software, stop by ResizePictures. This service allows you to upload a picture and resize it to either a larger or smaller resolution.
I hope these tools benefit your internet experience, and please let me know, via our
contact form, if you have any questions.
