Category Added for Travelers
By: Chris CrumToday I have added the long overdue category for Travel Arrangements. This is the place where you will find a collection of sites such as Travelocity, Expedia, and many others that will help you seek out the best deals on airfare, hotels, etc.
Travel is a part of many businesses, whether it be meeting with other companies, attending conferences, or just taking a much needed vacation. I have deemed the Conferences category and the Search Engines category (sub-category of Search) to be the best places to list the new Travel Arrangements category under, at least for the time being. Those who go to conferences will need to book their travel arrangements, so I thought it made sense there, and most of the listings are search tools to find deals, so I thought the search engines category would be appropriate also.
I expect this new category to grow rather quickly as many of our past submissions have been sites that were travel-oriented and I expect that many more in the future will be as well. The listings in the category will not necessarily be all “search” tools, if other useful sites come to our attention that still fit the category.
This will not however be a place to submit real estate sites, so please don’t bother.
