Search Bug Resolved
By: Chris CrumI ran across a rather critical blog post about our directory today questioning its usability. I’m glad I did too because it was pointed out that our search function was having problems.
The poster found that a search for search engine optimization produced results, but a search for simply “SEO” did not. This was indication of a slightly bigger problem that the search feature was having in that it was not set up to retreive results for queries of three characters or less.
So for example, you would be out of luck searching for SEO or ASP or SQL. This problem has been corrected and one should have no problem finding results for such queries from this point on.
I would like to also take this opportunity to encourage feedback on the directory, especially if problems are encountered, so we can correct them and keep it as useful as possible to the end-user – the people this directory was built for.
